The youthful and exuberant Gloria by famed opera composer Giacomo Puccini, composed at age 18, is paired with Francis Poulenc’s solemn yet mischievous setting of the same text, composed just four years before his death, form the core of this program. Accompanied by members of the MSO conducted by Artistic Director Mark Nabholz, this concert will also feature an audience sing-along of some of the most popular choruses from Handel’s timeless Messiah (music will be provided).
